To authorize public housing agencies to share certain data regarding homeless individuals and families for the provision of housing and services, and for other purposes.

Sponsor: Rep. Brad Sherman — D — CA

Allows public housing agencies (PHAs) to disclose information about people that are homeless to the local Continuum of Care (CoC) in order to help those people access services. CoCs use appropriated funds to provide shelter and other services to people who are homeless; PHAs use appropriated funds to provide housing to low-income households.
