A bill to establish the Federal Clearinghouse on School Safety Best Practices, and for other purposes.

Sponsor: Sen. Ron Johnson — R — WI

Requires the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), in coordination with other federal agencies, to disseminate information on school safety measures to state and local education agencies. The bill directs DHS to work with other federal agencies to identify existing grant programs that can support school safety improvements. The bill also requires DHS to establish an advisory board to provide external feedback and recommendations for additional school safety resources.
