Biography

Ayanna Pressley is a Representative from Massachusetts. Born in Chicago, IL, she attended Boston University from 1992-1994 and served on staff for United States Representative Joseph P. Kennedy II of Massachusetts in 1996. She was on staff for United States Senator John Kerry of Massachusetts from 1996-2009, and a member of the Boston, MA, city council from 2011-2019. She was elected to the 116th Congress (January 3, 2019-present).
