William (Bill) Shuster, (son of E. G. "Bud" Shuster), is a Representative from Pennsylvania. Born in McKeesport, Pennsylvania in 1961, he earned his B.A. from Dickinson College in 1983 and his M.B.A. from American University. Before serving in Congress, he was a business owner. He was elected as a Republican to the 107th Congress, by special election, to fill the vacancy caused by the resignation of United States Representative E. G. Bud Shuster of Pennsylvania and reelected to the eight succeeding Congresses (May 15, 2001-present).
He is chair of the Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure (113th-115th Congresses).
