David Rouzer is a Representative from North Carolina. Born in Landstuhl, Germany in 1972, he earned his B.S. from North Carolina State University in 1994. He was a businessman and associate administrator and rural administrator for the United States Department of Agriculture from 2005-2006. Additionally, he served as staff for United States Senator Jesse Helms of North Carolina from 1996-2000, staff for United States Senator Elizabeth Dole of North Carolina from 2003-2005 and was a member of the North Carolina state senate from 2009-2012. He ran unsuccessfully for election to the United States House of Representatives in 2012, but was elected as a Republican to the 114 and succeeding Congress (January 3, 2015-present).
