Donald J. (Don) Bacon is a Representative from Nebraska. Born in Chicago Heights, Illinois in 1963, he earned his B.A. from Northern Illinois University in 1984, his M.B.A. from the University of Phoenix in 1996 and his M.A. from the National War College in 2004. He served in the United States Air Force from 1985-2014, was a staff member for United States Representative Jeff Fortenberry of Nebraska from 2014-2015 and worked as an assistant professor at the University of Bellevue from 2014-2017. He was elected as a Republican to the 115th Congress (January 3, 2017-present).
