Biography

Dustin (Dusty) Johnson is a Representative from South Dakota. Born in Pierre, SD, he earned his B.A. from the University of South Dakota in 1999 and his M.P.A. from the University of Kansas in 2002. He worked on staff for Governor Mike Rounds of South Dakota and was a member of the South Dakota public utilities commission from 2004-2011. He worked on staff for Governor Dennis Daugaard of South Dakota from 2011-2014 and was a business executive before being elected to the 116th Congress (January 3, 2019-present).
