Biography

Elizabeth Warren is a Senator from Massachusetts. Born in Oklahoma City, OK, in 1949, she attended George Washington University from 1966-1968 and graduated the University of Houston with her B.S. in 1970 and from Rutgers University with her J.D. in 1976. She has been an elementary school teacher; lawyer; law professor; bankruptcy analyst; and chair, Congressional Oversight Panel for the Troubled Asset Relief Program 2008-2010. She was special assistant to President Barack Obama for the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau 2010-2011; and elected to the United States Senate in 2012.
