Gwendolynne (Gwen ) S. Moore is a Representative from Wisconsin who was born in Racine, Wisconsin on April 18, 1951. She earned her B.A from Marquette University in Milwaukee in 1978. She was a housing officer for the Wisconsin Housing and Development Authority, a member of the Wisconsin state assembly from 1989-1992, a member of the Wisconsin state senate from 1993-2004, and president pro tempore from 1997-1998. She was elected as a Democrat to the 109th and to the six succeeding Congresses (January 3, 2005-present).
