Biography

Jim Hagedorn was a Representative from Minnesota. Born in Blue Earth, MN, he earned his B.A. from George Mason University in 1983. He was on staff for United States Representative Arlan Ingehart Stangeland of Minnesota from 1984-1991 and on staff for the United States Treasury Department from 1991-1998. He was a businessman and ran unsuccessfully for nomination to the 112th Congress in 2010, the 114th Congress in 2014, and the 115th Congress in 2016. He was elected to the 116th Congress and served until his death (January 3, 2019-February 17, 2022).
