Biography

Jim Jordan is a Representative from Ohio. Born in Troy, Ohio in 1964, he earned his B.S. from the University of Wisconsin in 1986, his M.A. from the Ohio State University in 1991, and his J.D. from Capital University in 2001. He was a private practice lawyer, a member of the Ohio state house of representatives from 1995-2000, and a member of the Ohio state senate from 2001-2007. He was elected as a Republican to the 110th and to the five succeeding Congresses (January 3, 2007-present).

He was a co-founder of the conservative House Freedom Caucus and is considered one of President Donald Trump's key allies in Congress.
