Biography

Joseph Sempolinski was born in Elmira, NY on February 10, 1983. He graduated from Corning-Painted Post West High School in 2001 and his BA from Georgetown in 2005. He attended Yale University in 2009 and was on the staff of Archbishop Walsh Academy in Olean, NY. A consultant, campaign manager and staff member of Rep. Thomas W. Reed II from 2010-2017, he also served as staff with New York state representative Joseph Giglio in 2022. He was elected as a Republican to the 117th Congress by special election to fill the vacancy caused by the resignation of Rep. Thomas W. Reed II (August 23, 2022 – present).
