Biography

Lynn Jenkins is a Representative from Kansas. She was born in Holton, Kansas on June 10, 1963.

She received her A.A. from Kansas State University in 1985, and her B.S. from Weber State University in 1985.

After school she worked as an accountant. She was a member of the Kansas state house of representatives from 1999-2001, and was a member of the Kansas state senate from 2001-2003. She served as Kansas state treasurer from 2003-2008.

She was elected as a Republican to the One Hundred Eleventh and to the four succeeding Congresses (January 3, 2009-present).
