Michelle Lujan Grisham is a Representative from New Mexico. She was born in Los Alamos, New Mexico on October 24, 1959.
She received her B.U.S. from the University of New Mexico in 1981, and her J.D. from the University of New Mexico in 1987.
She worked as a lawyer for the New Mexico state bar association, and was the director of the New Mexico state agency on aging from 1991-2002.
She was the New Mexico secretary of health from 2004-2007. She was elected as a Democrat to the One Hundred Thirteenth Congress and to the two succeeding Congresses (January 3, 2013-present).
