Mick Mulvaney was a Representative from South Carolina. Born in Alexandria, Virginia in 1967, he earned his B.S.F.S. from Georgetown University in 1989 and his J.D. from the University of North Carolina in 1992. He was a private practice lawyer, real estate developer, a member of the South Carolina state house of representatives from 2007-2009, and a member of the South Carolina state senate from 2009-2010. He was elected as a Republican to the 112th and to the three succeeding Congresses (January 3, 2011-February 16, 2017).
He has served as the Director of OMB under the Trump administration and as White House Chief of Staff.
