Patrick Meehan is a Representative from Pennsylvania; born in Cheltenham, Pennsylvania in 1955, he earned his B.A. from Bowdoin College in 1978 and his J.D. from Temple University in 1986. He was a private practice lawyer, United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania from 2001-2008, staff for United States Senator Arlen Specter from 1991-1994, and the Delaware County, Pennsylvania district attorney from 1996-2001. He was elected as a Republican to the 112th and to the three succeeding Congresses (January 3, 2011-present).
