Biography

Raul Ruiz is a Representative from California. Born in Zacatecas, Mexico, in 1972, he earned his B.S. from the University of California in 1994, his M.D. and M.P.P. from Harvard University in 2001, and his M.P.H. from Harvard University in 2007.

He was a physician and associate dean for the University of California-Riverside School of Medicine from 2011-2012. He was elected to the 113th and to the succeeding Congress (January 3, 2013-present).
