Rohit Khanna is a Representative from California. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1976, he earned his A.B. from University of Chicago in 1998 and his J.D. from Yale University in 2001. He was an adjunct professor, author, and an unsuccessful candidate for nomination to the 109th Congress in 2004. He also worked as the deputy assistant secretary for the United States Department of Commerce from 2009-2011 and was an unsuccessful candidate for election to the 114th Congress in 2014 before he was elected as a Democrat to the 115th Congress (January 3, 2017-present).
