Biography

Timothy Burchett is a Representative from Tennessee. Born in Knoxville, TN, he earned his B.S. from the University of Tennessee in 1988. He was a business owner and a member of the Tennessee state house of representatives from 1994-1998, then a member of the Tennessee state senate from 1998-2010. He was mayor of Knox County, TN, from 2010-2018 and elected to the 116th Congress (January 3, 2019-present).
