Tim Walberg is a Representative from Michigan. He was born in Chicago on April 12, 1951.
He attended Western Illinois University from 1969-1970, and Moody Bible College Institute from 1970-1973. He received his B.S. from Fort Wayne Bible College in 1975, and his M.A. from Wheaton College in 1978.
He worked as a minister, and was elected as a member of the Michigan state house of representatives from 1983-1998 before becoming an unsuccessful candidate for nomination to the United States House of Representatives in 2004.
He was elected as a Republican to the One Hundred Tenth Congress (January 3, 2007-January 3, 2009) and was an unsuccessful candidate for reelection to the One Hundred Eleventh Congress in 2008.
He was elected as a Republican to the One Hundred Twelfth and to the three succeeding Congresses (January 3, 2011-present).
