Biography

Tom Rice is a Representative from South Carolina. Born in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina in 1957, he earned his B.S. from the University of South Carolina in 1979, his M.A. from the University of South Carolina in 1982, and his J.D. from the University of South Carolina in 1982. He was a private practice lawyer, accountant, and the chairman of the Horry County, South Carolina council from 2010-2012. He was elected as a Republican to the 113th and to the two succeeding Congresses (January 3, 2013-present).
