Biography

Amy Klobuchar is a Senator from Minnesota. Born in Plymouth, MN, in 1960, she graduated magna cum laude from Yale University in 1982 and earned her J.D. from the University of Chicago in 1985 before practicing law in Minnesota and becoming partner at the law firms of Dorsey & Whitney and Gray Plant Mooty. She served as Hennepin County attorney from 1999-2006 and was elected to the United States Senate in 2006. She is seeking the 2020 Democratic nomination for President of the United States.
