To amend title 38, United States Code, to establish protections for a member of the Armed Forces who leaves a course of education, paid for with certain educational assistance, to perform certain service.

Sponsor: Rep. Lauren Underwood — D — IL

Prohibits colleges and universities from taking adverse action against students who are activated for military service during an academic term, requires schools to refund benefit payments to VA for students who withdraw because of military activations, and caps the maximum amount of tuition and fees paid by VA for students enrolled in flight training programs at public schools.
