To amend the Trafficking Victims Protection Act of 2000 to ensure adequate time for the preparation of the annual Trafficking in Persons Report, require the timely provision of information to the Office to Monitor and Combat Trafficking in Persons and the Bureau of Diplomatic Security of the Department of State regarding the number and location of visa denials based, in whole or in part, on grounds related to human trafficking, and for other purposes.

Authorizes the U.S. Advisory Council on Human Trafficking to carry out its duties through 2025. The bill also would allow the Department of State to compensate members of the council for their work and would require the department to report to the Congress on how it plans to do so. The council is a nongovernmental body with eight members that advises the Department of State and other federal entities and reviews federal efforts to monitor and prevent trafficking in persons. The authority for the council to operate expires at the end of fiscal year 2021.
