To provide increased Congressional oversight of certain pardons, to clarify the applicability of bribery prohibitions to pardons and commutations, and for other purposes.

Sponsor: Rep. Adam Schiff — D — CA

Requires the Attorney General and Executive Office of the President to submit legal materials relating to Presidential pardons to the Congress within 30 days after a pardon is granted. The bill also clarifies current law that it is a crime for the President or Vice President to accept bribes for a pardon or commutation.
