A bill to promote the deployment of commercial fifth-generation mobile networks and the sharing of information with communications providers in the United States regarding security risks to the networks of those providers, and for other purposes.

Sponsor: Sen. Roger Wicker — R — MS

Establishes a program, administered by the Federal Communications Commission, to reimburse some U.S. communications providers for removing and replacing certain equipment, prohibits federal funds from being used to purchase certain equipment, and imposes requirements and create new programs to secure U.S. communications networks.
