Alan Bowlby Mollohan (son of Robert H. Mollohan) was a Representative from West Virginia. Born in Fairmont, WV, he earned his A.B. from College of William and Mary in 1966 and his LL.D. from West Virginia University in 1970. HE was a private practice lawyer and served in the United States Army Reserves from 1970-1983. He was a delegate to the Democratic National Convention in 1968, 1972, and 1976, before being elected to the 98th and to the 13 succeeding Congresses (January 3, 1983-January 3, 2011). He ran unsuccessfully for nomination to the 112th Congress in 2010.
