John Kline is a Representative from Minnesota. He was born in Allentown, Pennsylvania on September 6, 1947.
He received his B.A. from Rice University in 1969, and his M.P.A. from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania in 1988.
He served in the United States Marine Corps from 1969-1994. He was an unsuccessful candidate for the One Hundred Sixth Congress in 1998 and again for the One Hundred Seventh Congress in 2000.
He was elected as a Republican to the One Hundred Eighth and to the six succeeding Congresses (January 3, 2003-January 3, 2017)
