Ryan Zinke was a Representative from Montana. He was born in Bozeman, Montana on November 1, 1961. He received his B.S. from the University of Oregon in 1984, his M.B.A. from the National University at San Diego in 1991, and his M.S. at the University of San Diego in 2003. He served in the United States Navy from 1985-2008. After, he was a business executive and member of the Montana state senate from 2009-2012.
He was an unsuccessful candidate for nomination for lieutenant governor of Montana in 2012, before being elected as a Republican to the 114th and succeeding Congress (January 3, 2015-March 1, 2017). He served as United States Secretary of the Interior from 2017 until 2019.
