To amend the Homeland Security Act of 2002 to improve U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) identification of staffing needs, and for other purposes.

Sponsor: Rep. Clay Higgins — R — LA

Directs the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to develop and implement a workload staffing model and a workforce tracking system for the Border Patrol (BP) and for Customs Air and Marine Operations (AMO). The bill would require the DHS Inspector General (IG) to review the staffing model.
