To amend the Homeland Security Act of 2002 to authorize the Secretary of Homeland Security to establish a continuous diagnostics and mitigation program in the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency of the Department of Homeland Security, and for other purposes.

Sponsor: Rep. John Ratcliffe — R — TX

Codifies the Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation (CDM) program at the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Agency (CISA), which provides federal, state, and local government agencies with tools to rapidly identify and respond to cybersecurity risks. The bill also requires CISA to report to the Congress on the implementation of the program and the effectiveness of CDM.
