To amend the Homeland Security Act of 2002 to establish the Office for Bombing Prevention to address terrorist explosive threats, and for other purposes.

Sponsor: Rep. Tomasz Malinowski — D — NJ

Authorizes the Department of Homeland Security to publish information on threats posed by improvised explosive devices (IEDs) and coordinate federal efforts to protect against IED attacks in the United States. The bill also would codify the department’s Office of Bombing Prevention and would require the department to report to the Congress on the effectiveness of its efforts.
