A bill to amend the Homeland Security Act of 2002 to establish the National Cyber Resilience Assistance Fund, to improve the ability of the Federal Government to assist in enhancing critical infrastructure cyber resilience, to improve security in the national cyber ecosystem, to address Systemically Important Critical Infrastructure, and for other purposes.

Sponsor: Sen. Angus King — I — ME

Requires the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to carry out a five-year program to share information about cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities with the owners of critical infrastructure (such as power generation and water treatment plants). The bill also requires DHS to report on other federal cybersecurity efforts, such as providing safety labels for cybersecurity products and mitigating malicious Internet traffic.
