A bill to amend title 38, United States Code, to improve homeless veterans reintegration programs, and for other purposes.

Sponsor: Sen. Jerry Moran — R — KS

Directs the Department of Labor (DOL) to consider applications from organizations in all states for grants that provide job training, counseling, and placement services to help homeless veterans find meaningful employment, and to conduct outreach and education activities in states from which no organizations are awarded grants. The bill also requires DOL to include additional information in the biennial report to the Congress regarding the criteria used to consider grant applications, the total number of applications submitted, the number of applications denied, and for each state within which no grant was awarded during the preceding year, the reasons why no grants were awarded.
