A bill to require the Secretary of Veterans Affairs to review the processes and requirements of the Department of Veterans Affairs for scheduling appointments for health care and conducting consultations under the laws administered by the Secretary, and for other purposes.

Sponsor: Sen. Jon Tester — D — MT

Requires the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) to evaluate its processes for scheduling appointments for health care from the department and from nondepartmental providers, to establish performance metrics for each step of that process, and to report on VA’s performance in meeting those metrics.
