Doug Collins is a Representative from Georgia. He was born in Gainesville, GA on August 16, 1966
He received his B.A. from North Georgia College in 1988, and later attended New Orleans Theological Seminary in 1996;
He received his J.D. from John Marshall Law School in 2008, then served in the United States Air Force Reserve from 2007-present as a pastor.
He was elected a member of the Georgia state house of representatives from 2007-2012, then was elected as a Republican to the One Hundred Thirteenth and to the two succeeding Congresses (January 3, 2013-present).
