Biography

Justin Amash is a Representative from Michigan. Born in Grand Rapids, MI, in 1980, he earned his A.B. from the University of Michigan in 2002 and his J.D. from the University of Michigan in 2005. He has been a private practice lawyer and member of the Michigan state house of representatives from 2008-2010. He was elected to the 112th and to the two succeeding Congresses (January 3, 2011-present).
