Kay Granger is a Representative from Texas. Born in Greenville, Texas in 1943, she earned her B.S. from Texas Wesleyan University in 1965. She was a teacher, business owner, member of the Fort Worth, Texas zoning commission from 1981-1989, a member of the Fort Worth, Texas city council from 1989-1991, and mayor of Fort Worth, Texas from 1991-1995. She was elected as a Republican to the 105th and to the ten succeeding Congresses (January 3, 1997-present).
