Biography

Paul Cook is a Representative from California. Born in Meriden, CT, in 1943, he earned his B.S. from Southern Connecticut State University in 1966, his M.P.A. from California State University in 1996, and his M.A. from the University of California in 2000.

He served in the United States Marine Corps from 1966-1992 and was a professor and member of the Yucca Valley, CA, town council from 1998-2006. He was Mayor of Yucca Valley, CA, and member of the California state assembly from 2006-2012. He was elected to the 113th and to the succeeding Congress (January 3, 2013-December 7, 2020).
