Biography

Richard Hudson is a Representative from North Carolina. Born in Franklin, Virginia in 1971, he earned his B.A. from the University of North Carolina, Charlotte in 1996. He was the communications director for the North Carolina Republican party and a business owner. He also served as staff for United States Representative Robert (Robin) Hayes of North Carolina from 2000-2005, staff for United States Representative Virginia Ann Foxx of North Carolina from 2005-2006, staff for United States Representative John R. Carter of Texas from 2006-2009 and staff for United States Representative K. Michael Conaway of Texas from 2009-2011. He was elected as a Republican to the 113th and to the two succeeding Congresses (January 3, 2013-present).
