Sharice Davis is a Representative from Kansas. Born in Shawnee, KS, a registered member of the Ho-Chunk Nation, she attended Haskell Indian Nations University and the University of Kansas; she earned her A.A. from Johnson County Community College in 2003, her B.A. from the University of Missouri in 2007, and her J.D. fro Cornell University in 2010. She was a teacher, lawyer, school administrator, business owner, non-profit executive, professional athlete, and a White House Fellow from 2016-2017. She was elected to the 116th Congress (January 3, 2019-present).
