A bill to amend title 38, United States Code, to modify the limitation on pay for certain high-level employees and officers of the Department of Veterans Affairs.
Sponsor: Sen. Jerry Moran — R — KS
Authorizes the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) to increase the cap on salaries for regional directors of its health care system and for staff of the department’s Under Secretary of Health. The bill would increase the cap for those positions from $160,100 to $197,300, as set by the executive schedule for 2020.
