Biography

George E.B. Holding is a Representative from North Carolina. Born in Raleigh, North Carolina in 1968, he earned his B.A. from Wake Forest University and his J.D. from Wake Forest University in 1996. He was a private practice lawyer, served as staff for United States Senator Jesse Helms of North Carolina from 1998-2002, was an assistant United States attorney for the Eastern District of North Carolina from 2002-2006, and a United States attorney for Eastern District of North Carolina from 2006-2011. He was elected as a Republican to the 113th and to the two succeeding Congresses (January 3, 2013-present).
