Glenn Thompson is a Representative from Pennsylvania. Born in Bellefonte, Pennsylvania in 1959, he earned his B.S. from Pennsylvania State University in 1981 and his M.Ed. from Temple University in 1988. He was a rehabilitation therapist manager, a member of the Bald Eagle, Pennsylvania school board from 1990-1995, an unsuccessful nominee for Pennsylvania state house of representatives in 1998 and 2000, and chairman of the Centre County Pennsylvania Republican Party from 2002-2008. He was elected as a Republican to the 111th and to the four succeeding Congresses (January 3, 2009-present).
