Biography

Ken Buck is a Representative from Colorado. Born in Ossining, NY, in 1959, he earned his A.B. from Princeton University in 1981 and his J.D. from the University of Wyoming in 1985. He was a business executive and served on staff for the United States House of Representatives Select Committee to Investigate Covert Arms Transactions with Iran from 1986-1987.

He also worked as a prosecutor for the United States Department of Justice from 1987-1990 and with the Office of the United States Attorney, District of Colorado, from 1990-2002. He was Weld County, Colorado, district attorney from 2005-2014. He ran unsuccessfully for the United States Senate in 2010 and was elected to the 114th Congress (January 3, 2015-present).
