Biography

Susan A. Davis is a Representative from California. Born in Cambridge, MA, in 1944, she earned her B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley, in 1965 and her M.S.W. from the University of North Carolina in 1968.

She was a member of the San Diego board of education from 1983-1992, serving as president from 1989-1992. She was also executive director, Aaron Price Fellows, from 1990-1994, and a member of the California state assembly from 1994-2000.

She was elected to the 107th and to the seven succeeding Congresses (January 3, 2001-present).
